I am Alycia

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I graduated form Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in education. A teaching position was the opportunity that brought me down here to San Antonio! After 4 years of teaching elementary school, my biggest supporter and cheerleader, my husband, pushed me to pursue my passion for photography. My days are now filled with snuggles and giggles from my sweet baby boy, as work to capture the most meaningful moments of other's lives.

I believe in creating a thoughtful, personal experience where you feel comfortable, cared for, and completely yourself.

I know firsthand that being in front of a camera can feel a little uncomfortable, so creating a relaxed and welcoming experience is at the heart of what I do. I’ll gently guide you when you need direction while giving you plenty of space to laugh, interact, and simply be yourselves. Rather than focusing on perfect poses, I want you to be present with the people you love while I capture the genuine connection, emotion, and little moments that make your story yours. My hope is that your session feels less like a photoshoot and more like time spent together—resulting in natural, heartfelt images that you’ll love for years to come.
